About us
Wirral Art is a collection of Wirral-based professional artists producing fine art and craft in various media including painting, photography, sculpture and jewellery.
Our main activity is the Wirral Open Studio Tour (WOST), an event during which artists invite the public to visit their workshops and display spaces. 2013 was the fourth year of the Wirral Open Studio Tour.
The group and tour was set up by Canadian artist Micheline Robinson in the Hoylake/Meols area in 2009 as Artists in Our Midst with 10 artists, and quickly evolved into a Wirral-wide event with 34 artists participating in 2011.
The 2013 Wirral Open Studio Tour featured 38 artists. Eighteen artists who participated in our previous event in 2011 returned and 20 new artists were welcomed.
